The weather in the Cordillera region is pretty nice. It has mild winters and summers. This is because the landform locks the hear from the sun in the summer and lets it out in the sinter. so it makes winters warmer than it is in some other region like the Plains region. The same thing happens in winter. The cold air gets trpped and gets out in the summer, making the weather cooler in summer. So you can just imagine Cordillera like a giant thermos.

Although it doesn't snow a lot, it sure rains a lot in the region of Cordillera. It's because the clouds from the Pacific Ocean travels east by the wind from the ocean. Because of the mountains, the clouds climb up the mountains and gets heacy so rains. That is the reason the west side of the mountains are wet and the other is dry. It snows a lot, too, but it never stays. But rain, it can receive up to 200 centimeters of rain each year. Thanks to all the rain, there are a lot of trees.
