The landform in the Cordillera region is very important onthe major industries in this region. Forestry
is the most important industry in the reigion and provides the majority of lumber for the rest of Canada. In Cordillera pulp
and paper mills provide jobs for the majority of people who live in this region. This is used to make houses, paper, insulation,
and etc.
Mining is very important industry in Cordillera, too. The types of mining Cordillera produces are coal,
sopper, gold, and lead.
Salmon fishing is also very very important. BC salmon is world famous and found everywhere in the world.
Cordillera exports the salmon to countries all over the world like the United STates, western Europe, and Japan.
Tourism earns a great amount of money. Thanks to all the beautiful mountains, lakes, beachs and protected
parks, there are thousands of tourists. They come to fish, hike, camp and ski in the mountains. BC earned 8.3 billion
